Please join me or make a donation in the fight against breast cancer. Follow the link above for more information.

Why I am Making Strides

Because I know I will make a difference in the fight to end breast cancer. I know that by raising funds and walking in the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event, I will help save lives from breast cancer.

It is my hope that one day breast cancer, and cancern of all types, will be a thing of the past, a memory, and will never steal another year from anyone's life. Making Strides is my way of helping with the fight against cancer and to inspire hope by raising funds and awareness to help those facing the disease. That's why I'm walking.

Who I am Making Strides For

I am walking in memory of my aunt, Carole Israel, who pasted away at the young age of 59 on August 1, 2006 from cancer. She was a repeat cancer survivor, including breast cancer, until her life was taken by ovarian cancer after a courageous battle on her part. Up until the very end, as I sat beside her, she was her positive and wonderful self.

Though my reason for walking in the Making Strides event is personal I am hoping to raise awareness and funds to fight this disease in all its forms.  This is also my opportunity to honor cancer victims and survivors of all types. With your help we can beat this terrible disease.
